Giving back and lifting others up

It is not enough for Wingman to simply assist our clients in achieving their marketing and business objectives. We take our corporate responsibility goals seriously and honour them through our commitment to the local Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Wingman has set a goal each year to donate $5,000 through Wingman Wishes to help grant wishes for worthwhile children in our community.

In addition, each Wingman crew member volunteers a minimum of 40 hours every year to Make-a-Wish and other worthwhile causes.

At Wingman DX, we believe that success isn’t just measured in business growth—it’s measured in the positive impact we create in our communities. That’s why we established Wingman Wishes, an initiative dedicated to supporting and uplifting those who need it most.

Through Wingman Wishes, we provide resources, volunteering, mentorship, and financial contributions to causes and individuals who are making a difference.

Whether it’s helping entrepreneurs overcome barriers, supporting rural and newcomer-owned businesses, or funding community-driven initiatives, our goal is simple: to give back in meaningful ways.

2024 Desjardins GoodSpark Grant

Wingman DX is proud to be one of only 150 businesses across Canada to receive the Desjardins GoodSpark Grant in 2024. Out of thousands of applicants, we are one of just seven businesses in Alberta recognized for our work in Community Impact.

The Desjardins GoodSpark Grants program was created to help small businesses and entrepreneurs who are driving positive social change and local economic growth. Since its launch in 2021, Desjardins has awarded $9 million in grants to 750 small businesses that contribute to the vitality of their communities.

As part of our recognition, Wingman DX received $20,000 to continue our work to expand Wingman Wishes, helping more women-led, rural, and newcomer-owned businesses gain access to digital tools, AI strategies, and business transformation plans—resources that can help them scale, sustain, and thrive.

We are incredibly grateful to Desjardins for their commitment to small business success, and we are proud to be part of this national movement to uplift and empower our local economy.

Wingman Wishes Goals

$5,000 Donation Goal Every Year

As the charitable arm of Wingman DX, our Wingman Wishes initiative pledges to donate (the equivalent of) half a wish each year. Did you know that each wish that Make-a-Wish Foundation grants for a very needing and worthwhile child averages $10,000? As Wingman grows in the coming years, our hopes is that we can full sponsor a wish each and every year.

$50 Donation to MAW per Initial Consultation

For each discounted 30-minute initial consultation and needs assessment you book with Wingman for only $25, we will donate the entire fee AND match it. Your $25 donation becomes a $50 donation to Make-a-Wish. You get top-end marketing strategy advice and get to be part of making a difference for a child in our community.

‘Wine Me Dine Me’ For Wishes

Live entertainment, wine tasting and fine food fundraising event with all proceeds donated to Make a Wish. Exclusive event. Stay tuned in the new year for more details.
